Thank you to our generous donors

The summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum—from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ's Paschal Mystery.
The single celebration of the triduum marks the end of the Lenten season and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.

As we enter the sacred days of the Easter Triduum, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul extends our heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors. Your unwavering support throughout the year has enabled us to reflect Christ’s Love by serving those in need right here in our community. Your gifts have brought hope to countless lives, embodying the call of St. John Chrysostom, who taught, "The poor are not a burden but an opportunity to show kindness and share in God’s mercy."

The Triduum—Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil—invites us to journey with Jesus through His Passion, Death, and Resurrection. On Holy Thursday, we recall Christ’s institution of the Eucharist and His command to "love one another as I have loved you" (John 13:34). Let us serve others with humility, just as He did in washing the feet of His disciples. On Good Friday, we stand at the foot of the Cross, where "God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). In this sacrifice, we find the strength to bear our own crosses. Finally, on Easter, we rejoice in the Resurrection, for "if Christ has not been raised, our faith is in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:14). This is our hope, our victory, and our call to new life.

Pope St. John Paul II reminded us, "We are an Easter people, and Alleluia is our song." During these holy days, we encourage everyone to draw closer to Christ. Attend the Triduum liturgies, pray with Scripture, and open your heart to the transformative power of His love. Let us unite in prayer and service, renewing our commitment to live as His disciples.

May the grace of the Risen Lord fill your hearts this Easter. Thank you for walking with us in this mission of charity and faith.
