Volunteers and Donors

Donor information is never shared, and we only contact you if there is an issue which requires your input to resolve. If you have opted into our mailing list, you will occasionally (less than 2 x / month) receive news and updates via our mailing list. If you wish to remove yourself from the mailing list, simply use the links at the bottom of every email.

For those making memorial donations, there are options that allow you to specify whether or not we should send an acknowledgement of your donation (your name) to those your are honoring with your donation. There is a further option to disclose the amount you have donated. We strictly follow your instructions for memorial donations.

Those we serve

There are occasions, when ministering to those who have explicitly requested our assistance, that we will ask for your approval to provide required information to other agencies we are partnering with to provide you assistance. In these cases, we fully explain what information is needed and why, and will provide only the minimum information required by the partner agency to provide the service.

As required by St Vincent de Paul bylaws, we maintain information on those whom we assist for 3 years. This information may contain contact information, but we only use first names (no last names are ever included in any of our documents) for additional protection. At the end of 3 years, we securely destroy the records.

We are required, by St Vincent de Paul bylaws, to provide aggregated information on the number of individuals and family members we have served during our fiscal year. All information is aggregated and no individual information or case details are ever shared.
